Today you will write a poem using vivid nouns, adjectives, and verbs! Click on the link below, choose one of the two poem models, and create your own version on plain printer paper (Use lined paper underneath so that your lines are clean and straight). When you have finished writing your poem and have handed it into the basket, read. Be prepared to hand in your Autobiography assignment tomorrow!
Today you will complete your alphabet poem. When you finish writing it, type it up, print it out, and put it in the green basket. Then, read/respond to your autobiography assignment. If you have completed both of these assignments, you may begin reading "The Westing Game", located in the green basket!

1- Read the first page and then complete the first activity "Five Hundred Horse Power". 2-Choose one additional activity: Verb Variety, Verbs Alive, or Pop Goes the Verb. 3- If you have any additional time left, Read and respond to your Autobiography assignment due next week. 1- Add to your timeline. Include at least 5 examples of change in your life and include details of why this change was significant in your life- what was the big idea or lesson life taught you? Identify if the change was over time, + or -, naturally or human caused, etc.
2- Read "Verbs" packet to yourself. 3- If you finish with time to spare, read/respond to your autobiography assignment. Welcome back and a glorious Monday morning to you! I believe today is going to be an outstanding day!
Today you are working on your white adjective packet. You need to complete the "Jazz It Up" activity PLUS one other activity of your choice. Choose from the following: Jailbird A Deal You Can Refuse I Love L.A. Snake Spit OR Ms. Silvershine This assignment is worth 20 points. When you are done, you need to pull out your Autobiography books and read/respond. This is due Oct. 3 Due tomorrow is your interview. I hope you enjoyed asking questions and were enlightened by listening to your person.
